Disciples First OKC is dedicated to advocating for the separation between church and state and opposing Christian nationalism. We emphasize the importance of preserving religious diversity and protecting the rights of individuals from being subjected to any one religious ideology. By promoting inclusive and respectful dialogue, Disciples First OKC works to ensure that religious freedom and democratic values are upheld in the public sphere.
At the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Louisville, KY (July 2023) passed a resolution speaking to this.
